Dear St. Catherine Parish Family,
This past weekend, I spoke about the importance of our Catholic schools in providing our children with a safe, nourishing environment to learn how to think critically in order to be able to recognize the truth and beauty of God's plan for our lives and to really grow in virtue and holiness. I also mentioned that an extremely impactful way that you can support our schools is by participating in the Georgia Goal scholarship program, which is state sponsored program that allows individuals, couples, and corporations to make a donation to one of our schools and then receive a 100% state tax credit (certain corporations can also receive federal tax benefits). In essence, you are able to divert a portion of your tax liability (which you would have to pay to the state anyways) to our schools. So instead of the state receiving your tax money, the funds could go to our schools.
